How to order
Please note that all monetary amounts are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Internet: (Credit Cards Only) As you browse our online catalogue and see something that you like, just click on the small image to go to information about that product and click [Add to basket] - that item will then be added to your shopping basket. Please specify the quantity and the appropriate size or colour, if applicable. At any time you can remove that item. Just click on [View Basket] to alter your order or to proceed through to the checkout. The checkout is in three sections - first we ask you for name and address details and then for details of where you want the order delivered. Lastly, we ask for your credit card details. We accept Visa, Mastercard or AMEX. When you have completed your order, click the [Order Now!] button.

Secure ordering over the internet: All details on the order form are encrypted before sending to Oxfam Australia Trading, using SSL technology. In fact, ordering over the internet poses as little risk as giving your credit card details over the phone or sending them to us by mail or fax. If you prefer to use those options, however, we are quite happy for you to do so - see below.

Site Certificate: When ordering using SSL you will have a message come up about Certificate Authorisation which varies depending on what browser you are using. e2commerce provides our Certificate Authorisation which means that they have authorised that we are in fact Oxfam Australia Trading.

Cookies: When you place an order we employ cookies which allows our server to store a small file of information on your machine to facilitate your online shopping experience. Credit card details are never stored in a cookie.

Non-internet ordering: please note - we need to receive payment with your order to process it.

To print out an order form, Click Here: This will display an order form in a separate Browser window which you can proceed to print and use for postal or fax orders.

Your privacy
What information do we collect when you visit this site? We collect the information that is required to process and despatch your order, as well as to contact you if we have any queries about your order. When you place an order we employ cookies which allows our server to store a small file of information on your machine to facilitate your online shopping experience. Credit card details are never stored in a cookie. We don't disclose any personal information about our customers to any other third party. We will not send information to your email address if you request us not to. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing security for your credit card details.

Wine orders
Wine is despatched separately from handcrafts and is delivered Australia-wide by Australia Post's wine delivery service. If wine is ordered with other items, a separate delivery cost of $16.50 per order will be charged for the wine, on top of the delivery charge for the other items.

Australia Post will deliver wine to just about any address in Australia, though in some outlying areas delivery will be to your Australia Post outlet. If delivery instructions are left to leave the wine (eg by the back door if no one is home), we are unable to accept responsibility for any losses incurred. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of wine. We reserve the right to substitute a comparable product should wine become unavailable.
South Australian residents please note:- Under our Liquor License, wine is unable to be left unattended in South Australia. If no one is home a card will be left for you to contact your local post office.

Overseas orders
We only send out catalogues within Australia, however, we are happy to take overseas orders through the Internet. Please note that, in order to make fulfilment of overseas orders manageable, there are a few requirements:

1. Payment for the order must be by either Visa, Mastercard or AMEX.
2. You must stipulate whether you wish the goods to be sent by airmail, economy air or seamail.
3. We will contact you before despatch to confirm delivery charges.
4. There is an additional AUS$5.00 handling charge per order.

Postage and handling
For delivery within Australia, postage and handling is 15% of the goods total, with a minimum of $6.00 and a maximum of $16.00.
There are no postage and handling charges for Unwrapped Cards and campaign wristbands.

Delivery
Delivery of handcrafts is by Australia Post. Under normal circumstances your order will be despatched within a few days and arrive within 2 weeks. Items not immediately available will be placed on backorder for you where possible, and you will be advised of the expected date for despatch of these backordered items. Please note that your order may be sent in more than one parcel. Orders requiring delivery to Australian addresses by Christmas should reach us by Monday, December 8th to ensure timely delivery.

Hand made means unique
Many of our crafts are hand made by artisans living in remote parts of the world., where communications are often difficult. Whilst items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, and every effort is made to ensure that the products are the same as the original sample photographed, sometimes differences do occur, and indeed with some handcrafts each piece is totally unique. However, we and the producers, want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, so to ensure your peace of mind we make this simple guarantee:

Quite simply - if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will cheerfully refund the purchase price of your goods immediately. Please see the back of the advice sent with your goods for details, or just return the item (within 35 days of delivery) with a short explanatory note, and you will get your money back - no questions asked!
