Safe refuge for women

In Papua New Guinea we support the health of women through the Nana Kundi Crisis Counselling Centre which offers counselling services and a safe space for women experiencing domestic violence. It also educates women about their rights and teaches them important life lessons.

In Papua New Guinea, we support the Nana Kundi Crisis Counselling Centre which offers counselling services and a safe space for women experiencing domestic violence. Violence and sexual assault are all too common in Papua New Guinea. Women have limited choices in relationships and, as a result, statistics show that 70% of women experience domestic violence.
