By helping to build bridges, you’ll be helping farmers to sell their goods and get children safely across to the other side.

In Cambodia, flooded rivers and streams can prevent families from visiting markets and also make it dangerous for children to get to school. By helping to build simple wooden bridges, farmers and their families can have safe, year-round access to their villages. Community members can also contribute to the construction and, wherever possible, locally sourced building materials, such as sand, gravel and wood, are used. “The new bridge means it’s easy for me to transport rice to and from the paddy field and I can get my kids to school.
