Writing Set

This elegant writing set from Kathmandu uses handmade paper for its writing paper and envelopes. The paper is made from the inner bark of the Daphne Cannabina or Daphne Papyracea, known locally as ‘Lokta’, which are found around Mt Everest. The shrub regenerates after cutting, thus preserving Nepal’s fragile forest ecology. 22.5x30cm.
