5 Make Poverty History Wristbands

Please note:- Since there is no postage being charged on orders for the Wrist Bands they are only available in bundles of 5.

MAKE POVERTY HISTORY
The campaign which started in 2005 gives us the chance to put in place steps that will start to Make Poverty History. In 2000 the United Nations endorsed a set of goals (known as the Millennium Development Goals) that would see poverty halved by 2015. Current commitments made by developed countries are currently not sufficient to meet the 2015 goal. Oxfam along with other organizations around the world will be campaigning this year to get governments to meet their commitments on trade, aid and debt.

You will be able to participate in this campaign and show your support for the eradication of poverty by wearing a white Make Poverty History wristband

White wrist bands are also available from your favourite Oxfam shop.

In this new century, millions of people in the world's poorest countries remain imprisoned, enslaved and in chains. They are trapped in the prison of poverty. It is time to set them free.
