Three each of:

Temple Bruer 2006 Chenin Blanc – Langhorne Creek
100% Certified Organic Wine
David Bruer (owner and winemaker) has long been a supporter of both Oxfam and the environment. He is passionate about how things should be done – and what should be done – so it’s no surprise to have him supporting us again. A lively little number that will delight all and sundry – especially with some yummy soft cheese and fresh slices of apple or pear.

Thorn Clarke 2007 Sandpiper Pinot Gris - Eden Valley
Gris or Grigio, the difference is in style and location (France or Italy) but the grape remains the same. It really is becoming the variety for those in the know who enjoy elegance and interest. Pear and a hint of lime essence, a taste of almost creamy cashews. Put it with food you love – Agra Peas or a Leek, Fetta and Pea Frittata.

Beelgara Regional Reserve 2006 Chardonnay – Yarra Valley
Chardonnay may not occupy centre of the radar right now, but when you have an example like this it reminds you of what you used to love about fine wine. Serious notes of a well worked wine – dates and figgy characters, with some clean lines of vanilla and almost coconut residuals. Slow cooked, semi-smoked salmon is the order.

Temple Bruer 2006 Riesling – Langhorne Creek
100% Certified Organic Wine
There’s Riesling, there’s cooler climate Riesling and then there’s organic cooler climate Riesling. This will inspire even the non-Riesling lovers to investigate top examples of this noble variety. Fresh notes of neroli and lime match this with anything from fresh prawns and oysters to a lamb salad or fillet.
