Make Poverty History campaigning now in store...come in and purchase a wristband or sticker for $2, or perhaps a T-shirt for $30. Sign the petition to urge the government to live up to their promise of helping to halve world poverty by 2015 by acting on the Millenium Development Goals.
New Shops in Geelong & Chadstone
The Oxfam Shop network continues to grow with the opening of new stores at the newly expanded Westfield Geelong and the Chadstone Shopping Centre. The Geelong shop is situated in the centre’s new food precinct and stocks tea, coffee, chocolate, jams, condiments together with a selection of cook ware, toys, jewellery, gifts and homewares. A highlight of the opening was a tasting of Outback Pride sauces, relishes and dried herbs with founders Mike and Gayle Quamby bringing along bread, biscuits and cheese to complement their company’s bush tucker lines.
We're looking for volunteers Would you like to donate time rather than money towards a worthwhile Australian Aid Organisation? Would you like to learn valuable sales and marketing skills? Would you like to help bring economic and social justice to developing communities around the world?
You may have retail experience (although not essential) and can work anytime including weekends.
If this sounds like you and you would like to join in and experience the feeling of creating a difference, then contact your nearest shop and we will give you information on how you can become involved.
