Recycled Bike Chain Photo Frame

In stock

Product Details:

Waste not, want not, we say! India's primary form of transport is the humble push bike, and bike repair shops are found everywhere, along with mountains of old, unused and broken bike chains. From one of Oxfam's most popular ranges, this photo frame is the brainchild of an inspired metal worker from Noah's Ark Moradabad workshop who has ingeniously transformed these discarded bike chains into cool pieces of home decor. Hand soldered, the chain is formed into shape and then electroplated to a modern chrome finish and then applied to the backing piece. When you buy one, you're helping to ensure good healthcare, education and housing for Noah's Ark artisans and their families.

Using recycled bike chains that are hand soldered together, the photo frame is then formed into a rigid shape and electro plated in a modern chrome finish to form this fun and funky bicycle chain frame. Also available as bowls and kitchen trivets.
