‘Medallion’ jewellery chest of drawers and mirror. Intricately painted under glass in ruby red tones with gold accents. - Handcrafted in Peru. Dimensions: 19.5x23x13.5cms
The decorative panels are glass with the decoration on the back. The basic design is silkscreened onto the glass, then the pattern is finished by hand. The painter has to work backwards, with the first elements put down being the uppermost in the design and the background colour being the last.
